Starkville
Starkville Community Theatre’s Project P.L.A.Y. students will stage performances at the Playhouse, 108 E. Main St. Friday’s show is at 7 p.m. and Saturday’s is at 1 p.m. Admission is $6.

The Southside Blues Festival will be held at Townsend Park at 6 p.m. Friday and 4 p.m. Saturday.

Key East Nutrition, 910 Tuscaloosa Road E., is hosting a Sip and Shop event featuring loaded teas as well as local vendors.

Starkville
A small business expo, featuring several local businesses, will be held at Fire Station Park, 503 E. Lampkin St.
Saturday, July 1 @ 2 p.m.
Macon
Former MSU football player Jeffery Simmons is hosting a community fun day at the Noxubee County Sportsplex, 16291 Highway 45 S. There will be food, games, vendors and live music. Admission is free, but tickets must be reserved prior to the event.
Saturday, July 1 @ 5 p.m.
Columbus
The Fireworks on the Water show will be held on the east bank of the Stennis Lock and Dam. Chapel Heart will perform and the fireworks will be at 9 p.m. There will also be food trucks and free activities.
