A Columbus man is behind bars after allegedly breaking into a neighbor’s home.
Officers with Columbus Police Department on Monday arrested Jonathan Smith, 20, of 300 South Lehmberg, according to a CPD press release. Officers had been called to the scene for a burglary at the same apartment complex.
Smith also had property that had been stolen at a previous burglary in the same complex, the press release said.
Smith has been charged with two counts of burglary of a dwelling. His bond is expected to be set today.
