Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Caldwell, of Columbus, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on July 30, 2025. They were married July 30, 1965 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Mrs. Caldwell is the former Barbara Brandon. She retired from Lake Lowndes State Park after 34 years, where she served as office manager, assistant manager and park manager.
Mr. Caldwell served in the Army, stationed in Korea. Mr. Caldwell is also the retired part owner of his family business, Caldwell Construction Company and the retired owner of Caldwell Plan Service.
The couple have two children, Andy Caldwell and Kelly Brown, both of Columbus. They have four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
