After a five-year hiatus, the Starkville/MSU Symphony Association Gala returns with the expectation that everyone will bring memories of past galas and create new ones.
Continue celebrating the New Year by joining the Starkville/MSU Symphony Association from 6:30-10 p.m. Jan. 25 with its “Musical Memories” Gala. This popular event will be held at The Gathering Place, 1137 Fire Station Road in Starkville.
The fun will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a free drink, delicious hors d’oeuvres catered by Brian Michaels and music by the Hep Cats Band. Highlighting the evening will be the fundraising event, a silent auction.
Participants will have an opportunity to bid on selected items donated from various businesses and people in the Golden Triangle area. At the close of the gala, auction winners will be announced, and must pay for their items before they leave.
Tickets are $50 per person and may be purchased by calling (662) 312-4882 or (662) 617-1062. Tickets will also be sold at the door the night of the gala. Money from the gala will help fund the coming concerts during the remainder of this season and for next season.
