God has abundantly blessed all of us, and we have no need to allow stress to take control of our lives. We must take control of it by managing our stress levels and preventing them from escalating further. We can’t do this in our own strength, but we can with the strength of God. We’re too blessed by God to be stressed about anything. “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” (Philippians 4:13, KJV)
Life can be chaotic and stressful at times, causing us to feel overwhelmed. During these times, we must bring everything to God in prayer. Prayer shifts our perspective and allows God to act on our behalf. Then, we will realize we’re too blessed by God to be stressed. “Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” (Philippians 4:6, KJV)
Stress is something we deal with daily. We never know what we will face before the end of the day. However, we can’t let stress ruin our day. Instead, we can start rejoicing in the Lord because we’re too blessed by God to be stressed. “This is the day which the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psalm 118:24, KJV)
Every job has its stressful moments, especially when we’re pressured to meet deadlines or fulfill challenging obligations. In times like these, we can find joy knowing that we’re too blessed by God to be stressed. “As pressure and stress bear down on me, I find joy in your commands.” (Psalm 119:143, NLT)
Some people know the right buttons to push to make us feel stressed. Instead of trying to escape these people, we must learn how to deal with them. We can do this by allowing God’s peace to rule in our hearts and minds. We’re too blessed by God to be stressed. “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:7, KJV)
There are many things in life that cause stress and worry. Maybe it’s life changes, a job interview, trying to have children, or something else. In moments like these, we have to remember we’re too blessed by God to be stressed about things we cannot change. “Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?” (Matthew 6:27, NIV)
Be encouraged today and always remember: The minute we start stressing about anything, think of the goodness of God, and we will see that we’re too blessed by God to be stressed. “O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.” (Psalm 34:8, KJV)
