We can always depend on Jesus for everything. Depending on Him means acknowledging that He has the power and ability to intervene and provide for our every need. Whether our need is physically, emotionally or spiritually, He will give us what we need. “But my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19) KJV
When we depend on Jesus, we fix our focus on Him and keep our eyes on Him alone. With Him by our side, we can stand firm and remain unshaken, regardless of the challenges and uncertainties we may face.“I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.” (Psalm 16:8) NIV
Some people will fight against us for telling them what’s right. However, we don’t have to back down from telling them the truth. We Can Always Depend On Jesus to be there for us. “They will fight you, but they will fail. For I am with you, and I will take care of you. I, the Lord, have spoken!” (Jeremiah 1:19) NLT
In our time of weakness, we can depend on Jesus’ strength to be made perfect in every area we are weak. He delights in taking situations where our strength is lacking to demonstrate the greatness of His power. “My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.” (2 Corinthians 12:9) KJV
Even when we’re feeling afraid or helpless, we can always depend on Jesus to help us. Our help comes from Him alone; He’s the Creator of all things. He will uphold us, ensuring that we are never alone. “I hold you by your right hand I, the Lord your God. And I say to you ‘Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you.”(Isaiah 41:13) NLT
There will be times when things take a turn for the worse in our life. In moments such as these, we feel hopeless and discouraged. These are times when we can depend on Jesus to bring hope when everything else looks hopeless. “Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him.” (Psalm 62:5) NIV
Sometimes we try to make decisions on our own, only to find out we will make one bad decision after another. In times like these, we can depend on Jesus to give us wisdom to make the right decision every time. “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.” (Proverbs 4:7) KJV
So be encouraged today and always remember: Jesus is the One person we can always depend on because He has proven Himself to be faithful. “O Lord God of Heaven’s Armies! Where is there anyone as mighty as you, O Lord? You are entirely faithful.” (Psalm 89:8) NLT
