Oftentimes, we find ourselves stressing out over the situations that are going on in our lives, when God is saying to us, stop stressing and trust Me, I got this. “But as for me, I trust in You, O Lord; I say, ‘You are my God.’” (Psalm 31:14, NKJV)
We will encounter times in our lives when we struggle to understand how our needs will be met. In moments such as these, we must stop stressing; God got this. He’s our Provider, and He delights in providing us with whatever we need. “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19, KJV)
With all the chaos going on in the world today, it makes us worry about what’s going to happen next. There is no point in dwelling on the unknown stress of tomorrow because whatever will come will come. Therefore, let us start focusing on the present and stop stressing; God got this. “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.” (Matthew 6:34, NLT)
Sometimes we may be going about our usual routine, everything appears to be fine, and then suddenly it seems like everything goes wrong. We lose our home by fire, we get fired from our job, or our spouse wants a divorce. In trying times such as these, we have to stop stressing and know God got this. He knows how much we can handle, and He’s right there to comfort us through it all. “Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort.” (2 Corinthians 1:3, KJV)
When the burden of life feels overwhelming and the pressure seems too heavy to bear, we must give them to the Lord. He will ease our burden and lighten our load. So, stop stressing. God got this. “Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.” (Psalm 55:22, NLT)
There are times when we overload ourselves by taking on too many responsibilities or tasks that can affect our physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. During times like these, we must look up to Jesus for help and stop stressing; God got this. “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.” (Psalm 121:1-2, KJV)
So be encouraged today, and always remember: God want us to stop stressing about everything. For there is nothing too hard for Him to do for us. He got this. “O Sovereign Lord! You made the heavens and earth by your strong hand and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for you!” (Jeremiah 32:17, NLT)
