All of us will face challenges in our lives but when we face them, we should do these things:
• Be ready to face our life challenges — There are many challenges in life that we need to be ready to deal with. We can do this by studying and meditating on the word daily. The word will give us insight on how to be ready to face our life challenges. “For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.” (Romans 15:4) NIV
• Remember we are more than conquerors through Christ – No matter what life challenges we must face we can conquer them through Jesus Christ. It can be career setbacks, workplace stress, failures or family problems. “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” (Roman 8:37) NKJV
• Give our life challenges to Jesus – Sometimes the life challenges we face can be so overwhelming until it seems too much for us to handle. During these times, we have to give our life challenges to Jesus and let Him handle them for us. “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” (1 Peter 5:7) KJV
• Rely on God’s strength to help us. – We don’t have to fear or be afraid when we face life challenges. All we have to do is rely on God’s strength to help us get through it. He is our source of strength and assistance in every life challenge we face. “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10) NKJV
• Put our hope in God. Life is full of challenges, and at times, it can be difficult to understand why we are facing them. Nevertheless, when we put our hope in God, we can rest in Him knowing He will give us hope in the midst of our life challenges. “Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him.” (Psalm 62:5) NIV
• Stay focused on Jesus – Staying focused on Jesus will shift our focus off our life challenges and put our minds on Him. Then we can have peace because our trust is in Him. “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” (Isaiah 26:3) KJV
So be encouraged today and always remember: With God on our side, we can face any life challenge because no challenge is too hard for God. “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?” (Jeremiah 32:27)KJV
