We live in a world that seems in many ways to be out of control. However, we can rest assured that no matter what’s happening in the world today God Is Still In Control. He’s the Creator and Controller of this world and all that is in it. “The earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.” (Psalm 24:1) KJV
Life is full of battles that we have to face; whether it’s a battle with a friend, relative, health issues or some other type of battle. God will fight for us in all our battles. All we have to do is be still and know that God is still in control. “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” (Exodus 14:14) NIV
Sometimes we are blinded by circumstance and often we forget who is really in control. When this happens, doubt enters our minds and fear begins to consume our lives. Yet, we can have hope knowing God is still in control. “For thou art my hope, O Lord God: thou art my trust from my youth.” (Psalm 71:5) KJV
All of us have experienced some kind of heartache, loss and brokenness in our lives. It makes us feel sad, confused and alone. Despite what we feel, we need to remind ourselves that God is still in control and He will give us peace in the midst of it all. Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.” (2 Thessalonians 3:16) NIV
Some of us are stressing out over who’s going to be the next president. God is still in control and He is the Sovereign ruler over all His creation, He has the final say. The Lord hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.” (Psalm 103:19) KJV
A lot of times we make plans for our lives, and when things don’t go according to our plans we get discouraged. God is still in control and His plan and purpose for our lives will always succeed. “You can make many plans, but the Lord’s purpose will prevail.” (Proverb 19:21) NLT
We’re dealing with many things that are hard for us to understand; such things as the ongoing pandemic, political issues, inflation, and price gouging. Nevertheless, God is still in control. His wisdom and power is far above our understanding. “O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!” (Romans 11:33) KJV
So be encouraged today and always remember: God is the ultimate ruler, and He is still in control. “Now he is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else not only in this world but also in the world to come.” (Ephesians 1:21) NLT
