This is the beginning of another new year, and we will see the manifestation of the new things God is declaring in our lives like we never imagined. He’s doing it right now at this very moment and we must be ready for it. “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” (Isaiah 43:19) NIV
We no longer have to hold on to our past regrets, disappointments and failures because God is declaring new things in our lives right now. So let us forget about the things we faced last year and embrace the new year with excitement of a new beginning. “Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.” (Isaiah 42:9) KJV
For all the sorrow and heartaches we endured last year, God is declaring new things in our life right now. He’s turning our sorrow into joy this year. When God turns our mourning into dancing, He does not simply lift our spirits; He transforms our entire situation. This is why we can have a spirit of joy even in difficult times. “You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy.” (Psalm 30:11) NLT
A lot of doors were closed in our face on last year, but God is declaring new things in our life right now. He’s opening new doors of opportunity for us this year like never before. He’s already set it in motion, and it will exceed our expectation. “I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.” (Revelation 3:8) KJV
When the government shut down last year, a lot of people lost jobs and some lost income from being laid off for months.
Nevertheless, God is declaring new things in your life right now. He’s restoring back to you this year twice as much as you lost like He did Job. It will be bigger and better than before. “After Job had prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before.” (Job 42:10) NIV
So be encouraged today and always remember God is declaring new things in our life right now and making all things new in us. “And the One sitting on the throne said, ‘Look, I am making everything new!’ And then He said to me, ‘Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.’” (Revelation 21:5) NIV
Happy New Year.
