Rotary Club of Columbus is looking for students to sponsor for an all-expenses paid experience at the Middle Mississippi Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Retreat.
The Middle Mississippi RYLA Retreat is a 3-day, 2-night leadership development program, sponsored by Rotary District 6820, for 10th to 12th grade students.
The retreat will be held March 6-8 at Twin Lakes Conference Center near Florence. The priority deadline is Jan. 15 and the final deadline is Jan. 31. The application link is available at ismyrotaryclub.org/App/?ID=235.
Middle Mississippi RYLA Retreat’s curriculum was developed by professional educators to identify and enhance the qualities of servant leadership in each participant and gives students hand-on experience with a service project. The curriculum also introduces participants to all of the youth programs and values that Rotary offers.
Ideal candidates are service-minded students, whether that be at home, school, or in the community. For a glimpse of the 2024 retreat, go to https://youtu.be/S8cCwR0fXi8?si=SsGDAJj4FUX5Vyyp.
