The Columbus-Lowndes Public Library System will host the ninth annual Quilt Reception on March 18 starting at 11 a.m. in the upstairs meeting room. The Possum-Town Quilters Guild will present its ongoing project, Quilts of Valor. The reception is being sponsored by Friends of the Library for CLPLS.
Every March and April, the library displays some of the quilts made by Possum-Town quilters. This has been a tradition going back 25 years, and the reception was created in honor of local quilters. The quilts will be displayed through April 18.
