Junior Auxiliary of Columbus, MS welcomes its incoming Provisional Class for the 2024-2025 year. Over the next six months, these 15 women will train under the direction of Parliamentarian Misty Sharp, attend monthly chapter meetings and observe chapter projects.
The Junior Auxiliary of Columbus is part of The National Association of Junior Auxiliaries. NAJA consists of 96 Chapters in Arkansas, Alabama, Florida, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri and Tennessee. Members of Junior Auxiliary of Columbus are committed to active and constructive roles in the local community, with a particular emphasis in serving the children of Lowndes County through various in school projects, as well as working with local counselors to provide food and clothing to those in need. Active members dedicate five years of service to the community through the Chapter, annually serving a minimum of 72 hours.
“We are so very excited to welcome this wonderful Provisional class to JA of Columbus. They are an impressive group of talented, motivated, hard-working women who are eager to make a difference in the lives of the children of Lowndes County,” Parliamentarian Misty Sharp said. “I am looking forward to playing a role in their JA journey and cannot wait to see what great ideas they bring to our chapter as they plan their provisional project to serve our community.”
