■ Dancing in the Park: KMG Creations is hosting its 15th annual Dancing in the Park, where everyone is invited to come out and dance at Fire Station Park in Starkville from 9 to 11 a.m.

■ Heritage Museum Speaker: Richard Mullenax will be coming to the Oktibbeha County Heritage Museum at 10 a.m. to speak about growing up in Oak Ridge, Tennessee between 1942-1946, at the same time the Manhattan Project was being worked on at Oak Ridge. The public is invited to listen to Mullenax speak.

■ Possumtown Book Festival: Friendly City Books and the Friendly City Books Community Connection, a special project of the CREATE Foundation, will be bringing a one day book festival to Columbus. The festival will be at the Columbus Arts Council’s Rosenzweig Arts Center.

■ Annual Campaign Kick Off: United Way of the Golden Triangle Region is hosting its $50K Your Way raffle and annual campaign kick-off at Munson and Brothers from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
Raffle winners will be announced. There will also be food trucks, live music and inflatable jumpers for children.
