The next entry into this year’s Barn Concert Series will see co-headliners in Brother and the Hayes and Michaela Anne when it rolls around Thursday.
Brother and the Hayes was formed in 2017 by siblings David Bingaman and Jennie Hayes.
The duo released “The Dead End EP” that same year.
2019 saw the release of their first full-length album “Tennessee Nights.”
The group performs all over the country.
“You would be hard pressed to find a band that writes more authentically and has more fun playing together,” reads the band’s website.
“The rapport between brother and sister on stage is something to behold as they draw you in and make you feel like part of the family.”
Michaela Anne came onto the music scene in 2014 with her album, “Ease My Mind.”
However, it was her 2019 album “Desert Dove” that put her on the map and landed her festival performances across the country.
Following her performance at The Barn she will begin an international tour with shows in Great Britain, Sweden and Norway.
As with all of the Barn Concerts, there will be a meal provided. Parking and dinner begin at 6 p.m. The music begins at 7 p.m. In the event of inclement weather, an alternate indoor location will be announced on the Barn Concert Series Facebook group.
“We are excited about this second concert because it will feature two very good singer songwriter acts,” said Steve Ellis, who founded the series along with his wife, Kay. “Both artists are coming from Nashville and have established themselves as two of the better up and coming Americana performers. I believe it will be a very nice evening of entertainment from artists who are visiting Columbus for the first time.”
