Junior Auxiliary of Columbus announces the return of its beloved project, Summer JAM. JA members are thrilled to be working with the children of HEARTS After School Tutoring again this summer.
This year’s theme is “A Walk through the Bible.” Children will focus on four main areas: building background knowledge, growing vocabulary, increasing reading quantity and strengthening comprehension as they travel through familiar Bible stories.
“God’s word is great, from the first page to the last! Every word is true, inspired by God, and written just for you,” said JA member Lisa Rooker. “Don’t let your child miss out on this opportunity at HEARTS. With the assistance of Columbus JA, we will excite and ignite your child to experience the Bible through experiments, crafts, journals and snacks!”
During Summer JAM, members will assist Rooker in reading with the children, checking out books and exploring the STEM lab. Through this program, Junior Auxiliary of Columbus will provide more than 100 hours of service to Lowndes County children.
For information on how to enroll your child, contact HEARTS Director Lisa Rooker via email at [email protected].
