Veterinary students and staff, serving as hosts, greeted guests young and old — from prospective students pondering career choices to youngsters whose main goal was to spend the day petting llamas, snuggling with Mr. T (a very large and friendly English Mastiff) or attending any of the other kid-friendly events where they learned about veterinary medicine and general animal behavior, health and welfare. All in all, the “Wizard of Pawz” was a howling success.
