J.D. Fondren shows off his woodworking skills for a crowd during the Market Street Festival in downtown Columbus Saturday morning. Columbus Arts Council invited Fondren to set up outside the RAC. He has been working with wood since age 13. “My dad is a cabinet maker so I’ve always grown up aroud wood,” Fondren said. “This is my escape.
