Fireworks explode over the Columbus Lock and Dam on Friday night as part of the Fireworks on the Water event celebrating Independence Day. More than 8,000 attended the event, including people in 175 boats who watched from the water. The evening also brought live entertainment, children’s activities and food trucks. It was the first Fireworks on the Water event held since 2017.
