Free Spanish classes for all ages meet every Thursday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at The Prayer Corner, 806 Hwy 45 N, Columbus.

A corn and soybean variety tour takes place at 5 p.m. on Guerry Road in Artesia at the Dantzler Pilkinton Farm, hosted in cooperation with Mississippi State Extension Service. Attendees will tour MSU test plots, hear from extension specialists and seed company representatives, and share a meal. RSVP by July 24 at 662-328-2111.
