Columbus police have arrested four suspects after someone allegedly shot at officers early Sunday morning.
A Columbus Police Department press release said officers reported being shot at near the 600 block of 22nd Street North. Police later saw two suspects flee into an apartment at 610 22nd St. North.
Officers secured a search warrant and arrested the suspects, two of whom are expected to be formally charged in municipal court today.
An Associated Press report said a SWAT team broke into the apartment following the 3 a.m. incident, after the men refused to cooperate with officers.
CPD Capt. Brent Swan said officers did not recover a weapon at the scene.
