Mississippi State baseball added another pitcher to its 2027 roster.
Landon Stump will take the bump in Starkville next year. The righty started 13 games with a 4.12 ERA with the Bruins, the nation’s No. 1 overall seed, last season.
Stump spent his first three years at UCLA, and was a common presence on the mound through his three seasons. He started 42 total games, appearing in 42 and tallying 143 strikeouts.
His sophomore season was arguably his best as a Bruin. He started 18 games with a 6-2 record, a 5.02 ERA and 62 strikeouts.
He is the 13th incoming transfer Brian O’Connor and his staff have added this offseason.
