LIVINGSTON, AL – University of West Alabama held spring commencement exercises May 8 and 9, with President Todd G. Fritch conferring degrees to nearly 600 students in the graduating class, representing some 19 states across the U.S. and abroad.
The following local students earned degrees: Miracle Brock, of Columbus, Associate of Science in nursing; Alvin Ellis, of Columbus, Bachelor of Science in sports management; Tamera Jones, of Columbus, Master of Education in student affairs; Jamie Reese, of Columbus, Bachelor of Science in computer engineer technology; Phyllis Webber, of Columbus, Associate of Science in nursing; Tiairra Whitehead, of Columbus, Bachelor of Science in elementary education; and Lincharles Pippins of Macon, Master of Business Administration in business administration.
