COLUMBUS — Raymond Anthony “Boogaloo” Johnson, 53, died Feb. 15, 2017. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Christopher McSwain officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation is from noon-6 p.m. today at Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus. Mr. Johnson was born March 10, 1963, Lula Brown and the late Stanton Singleton. He was a member of Union Baptist Church and of Street Jumpers. He was employed with the Commercial Dispatch and CECO Building. He is survived by his wife, Tray Johnson of Suffolk, Virginia; mother, Lula Johnson Brown of Columbus; children, Porsha Hendrick of Columbus; step-children, Tenisha Miller and Sheaquan Miller, both of Suffolk, and Travis Miller of Columbus; siblings, Annie Johnson, Vanessa Jones and Harry Johnson, all of Columbus, and Robert Abrams of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; and six grandchildren.
