Making your bedroom more attractive takes more than just good furniture. Bedding items such as comforters, sheets and pillows help add that special touch.
In Columbus, people wanting to put that touch to the room where they put their heads down at night have places to go to get the needed accessories.
Melissa Hunt, Store Manager of Tuesday Morning, said they carry fine quality home decor for those wanting to dress up their beds.
“We have comforters, sheets, quilts, shams and pillows,” she said.
When you think of bamboo, you immediately think of chairs or other furniture pieces. Hunt said bamboo has made its way to bed accessories.
“With people becoming environmentally conscious, buying anything made of bamboo has become a big thing. This includes bamboo comforters,” she said.
Pillows are an important part of the bed”s makeup. Hunt said they carry a variety of pillows. A bed is not a bed without its fair share of pillows.
“We have them in different shapes and styles that best serves those who buy them. You can never have enough pillows,” she said.
Cindy Parker, Merchandise Coordinator at Belk”s in Columbus, said the typical seven-piece comforter sets usually includes bed ruffles along with the shams to go with the comforters.
Now, people can buy 20-piece sets, which include sheets, bed curtains, bed ruffles, shams along with the comforters.
Parker said prices for the comforter sets vary from $200 to more than $350.
“We carry a 20-piece set that runs about $200. With these moderately priced sets, it allows our customers the chance to buy these sets,” she said.
