Mississippi State head coach Zach Arnett added another 2024 prospect to his ever-growing list for the Bulldogs on Monday as linebacker/athlete Caleb Dozier verbally committed to playing for MSU.
Dozier, a three-star prospect by 247Sports from Headland, Alabama, featured on both sides of the ball for the Rams last season, playing tight end and defensive end.
He is listed at 6-foot-3, 220 pounds and is the No. 128 athlete in the nation and No. 46 recruit in Alabama in the 2024 class.
“I would like to thank all coaches that recruited me through this process and took the time to evaluate me and give me an opportunity,” Dozier said on social media Monday.
Along with Mississippi State, Dozier was also offered by Houston, Coastal Carolina, UAB and UCF, and he was recruited heavily by new Bulldogs defensive coordinator Matt Brock.
“I would like to thank God, my family and coaches with Coach Arnett, Coach Brock, Coach [Joey] Jones and the whole Hail State coaching staff for this opportunity,” Dozier said.
