NEW HOPE — The New Hope High School volleyball team remained undefeated with a sweep of Regents School of Oxford on Tuesday in New Hope.
Set scores were 25-6, 25-16 and 25-20.
Daylyn Nettles had 15 kills for the Trojans, while Micaela Hudgins had six.
Annie Woolbright had 24 assists for New Hope to lead the team, while Kensley Woolbright led with nine digs.
Hudgins had five aces to lead the Trojans as well as the team’s only block.
New Hope will host Starkville at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
Caledonia 3, Shannon 0
CALEDONIA — Caledonia made quick work of Shannon with a straight-set win in Tuesday’s home match.
Set scores were 25-5, 25-9 and 25-5 as Caledonia improved to 2-2 on the season.
Emily Clark had four assists, and Ella Clark had three.
Zoe Hansen led in kills with three, while Emily Clark and Libby McMurphey each had two.
Lily Rose Nodine had 12 aces for Caledonia.
