Heritage Academy and Hebron Christian School were both eliminated from MAIS regional softball competition Saturday in Senatobia.
In the North regional for Class 4A, Heritage Academy lost to Magnolia Heights 14-2 to fall into the losers bracket. The Patriots then lost to Pillow Academy and were eliminated.
In the North regional for Class 2A, Hebron Christian lost its first game 13-3 to Marvell Academy. The Eagles then faced West Memphis (Arkansas) in the losers bracket and were eliminated with a 20-5 loss.
Neither team was among the top four teams in its regional, so neither advanced to the state tournament, which will be held this Saturday and next Monday at the Magee Sportsplex in Magee.
