CALEDONIA — Jeremiah Dumas made two clutch free throws late in Tuesday’s home game against Mooreville, lifting Caledonia High School to a 70-69 district win.
Dumas was one of four Cavaliers to finish the game in double figures. Mason Godsey scored 17 points, Quez Barker had 14, and Tylen Simpson had 13.
Caledonia improved to 15-4 on the season and 3-1 in MHSAA Class 4A, Region 1.
The Cavs’ next game is Thursday at South Lamar (Alabama).

Heritage Academy couldn’t quite solve Bayou Academy in a 47-43 home loss Tuesday.
Lucy Sharp led the host Patriots with 14 points. Reagan Merchant and Chloe Boyd had 11 apiece, and Caroline Peal had six.
Heritage Academy will host rival Starkville Academy on Friday.
Oak Hill Academy 46, North Delta School 43
BATESVILLE — The Oak Hill Academy girls edged North Delta School 46-43 on the road Tuesday.
Mary Beth Briggs led Oak Hill with 13 points. Kara Reed and Morgan Dabbs had seven apiece; Raylee Craven had six, Harley Vaughn had five, and Allie Comer had four.
The Raiders (10-8) will host Hebron Christian on Thursday in West Point.

GREENVILLE — Starkville Academy nearly doubled up Washington School in Tuesday’s road district game.
Luke McKenzie had 11 points for the Volunteers (10-7, 4-0 district), and Rett Keenum added 10.
Starkville Academy will play Friday at Heritage Academy.
Oak Hill Academy 54, North Delta School 37
BATESVILLE — The Oak Hill Academy boys took down North Delta 54-37 on the road Tuesday.
Josh Long led the Raiders (12-6) with 18 points, while Collins Trolio and John Ross Craven added 10 apiece.
Kye Tate had eight points for Oak Hill, and Noah Brand had seven.
