STEENS — The Columbus Christian Academy basketball teams proved their superiority to Calhoun Academy on Friday in Steens.
Faith Yeates scored a team-high 16 points as the Columbus Christian girls beat Calhoun 50-22.
Ada Farlow scored 13, and Satavia Watkins added 12.
On the boys side, the Rams handled the Cougars, 48-23.
Mason Wright led CCA with nine points. Joe Michael Edwards scored eight, and Caleb McCarter had seven.
The Rams will be back in action Dec. 1 at home against Winston Academy.

Heritage Academy 59, Houlka 19
HOUSTON — The Heritage Academy girls demolished Houlka 59-19 on Saturday at the Chickasaw Challenge in Houston.
The Patriots improved to 2-2 on the season.
Heritage Academy will face Hartfield Academy at 2 p.m. Monday at Jackson Prep.

CALEDONIA — The Caledonia boys routed Hatley 78-46 in Friday’s home game.
JD Dumas led the Cavaliers (5-2) with 22 points. Quez Barker scored 16, Mason Godsey had 10, and KJ Barnes had 10.
Caledonia will host Sulligent (Alabama) on Monday.
Houlka 53, Heritage Academy 49, OT
HOUSTON — Heritage Academy lost a close game in overtime Saturday at the Chickasaw Challenge in Houston.
The Patriots (0-1) fell 53-49 to Houlka in their season opener.
Heritage Academy’s next game is at home at 2 p.m. Monday against Madison St. Joseph.

Saltillo 4, Caledonia 2
SALTILLO — The Caledonia girls soccer team lost a 4-2 decision on Saturday in Saltillo.
Lauren Brown and Eden Gentry each scored goals for the Cavaliers.
Caledonia’s next match is Nov. 29 at New Albany.

SALTILLO — Charlie Newman scored a brace for the Caledonia boys in a 5-3 road win over Saltillo on Saturday.
Logan Burges, Preston Holmes and Brandon Thompson also had goals for the Cavaliers.
Caledonia will travel to New Albany on Nov. 29.
