FULTON — The Caledonia High School softball team beat Itawamba Agricultural 7-2 in Tuesday’s road game.
Jada Glasgow had a first-inning RBI single as the Cavaliers grabbed the lead early and never let go of it.
Caledonia added three runs in the third inning, one in the fourth and two in the sixth.
The Cavs will host Itawamba on Thursday.

New Hope 19, Columbus 2, four innings
NEW HOPE — The New Hope baseball team routed Columbus High School 19-2 in four innings Tuesday.
The Trojans scored five runs in the first inning, seven in the second, five in the third and two in the fourth.
Columbus got a run in the second inning and another in the fourth.
The two teams will play again at 6 p.m. Thursday at Columbus.
Oak Hill Academy 17, Central Holmes Christian 7, five innings
WEST POINT — Oak Hill Academy won its fifth straight game with a 17-7, run-rule victory over Central Holmes Christian on Tuesday in West Point.
Drew Wright led the Raiders by going 3 for 3 with two doubles and driving in four runs.
Colin Boyd went 3 for 3 with a double, three runs scored and an RBI. Manning Huffman was 1 for 2 with two walks and four stolen bases, and Cameron Dill homered and was hit by a pitch twice.
The Raiders will play Thursday at Indianola Academy.
Newton County Academy 14, Columbus Christian Academy 2, five innings
STEENS — Columbus Christian Academy lost Tuesday’s home game to Newton County Academy 14-2 in five innings.
Drake Shaw struck out four in 2.1 innings for the Rams. Luke Phillips had a strikeout in two innings pitched.
Columbus Christian will play Thursday at Newton in Decatur.
Pickens Academy (Ala.) 2, Russell Christian Academy 0, Monday
CARROLLTON, Ala. — Pickens Academy (Alabama) shut out Russell Christian Academy 2-0 on Monday in Carrollton, Alabama.
Lane Lowery had 10 strikeouts in 4.2 scoreless innings, allowing two hits. Bodhi Parham struck out three in 2.1 innings.
Parham was 1 for 3 and drove in a run. Sawyer Perrigin went 2 for 3 and scored.
Pickens will host Heritage Christian Academy (Alabama) for a doubleheader Thursday.

Heritage Academy 5, Lamar School 4
The Heritage Academy tennis team beat Lamar School 5-4 on Tuesday at the Magnolia Tennis Club in Columbus.
The Patriots were led to victory with two wins in boys singles and a win apiece in boys doubles, girls doubles and mixed doubles.
In No. 1 boys singles, Owen Riley defeated Lamar’s Austin Dungan 6-2, 6-2. The Patriots’ Blake Ward beat the Raiders’ Austin Carle 6-3, 6-4 in No. 2 boys singles.
Brayden Oswalt and Graham Buxton won 6-2, 6-3 in No. 2 boys doubles, and the Patriots picked up a win in girls doubles as Mallory Ward and Ellie Dawson won 6-0, 6-0.
In mixed doubles, Sarah Curtis and William Laws picked up a 6-0, 6-0 win.
Heritage Academy will play Thursday at Winston Academy in Louisville.
