Columbus, Heritage Academy, West Point, Noxubee County, and West Oktibbeha were among the local winners Friday night as the 2010 prep football season kicked off in earnest.
Josh Powe and Dwight Quinn each had two touchdowns and an interception as West Oktibbeha scored 19 unanswered points en route to a 31-14 victory against West Lowndes.
Antonio Wilson rushed for 205 yards and a touchdown despite not playing the entire game due to cramps.
