REFORM, Ala. — Gabe Dickerson and AJ Brownlee each scored 14 points, and the New Hope boys team improved to 13-1 on the season with an 80-34 win at Pickens County (Alabama) on Friday.
Brownlee added five rebounds and three assists for the Trojans. LJ Hackman scored 13 points and had five rebounds, RL Mattix scored 11 points and grabbed seven boards, Jaylen Smith scored eight points, grabbed five rebounds and dished out six assists, and Caleb Parr scored 10 points.
New Hope will travel to face Houston on Tuesday.
Starkville boys 69, Southaven 43
PONTOTOC — The Starkville boys team beat Southaven 69-43 on Saturday at the Tangle on the Trail in Pontotoc.
Jarmarvious Phillips scored 17 for the Yellow Jackets and was named the player of the game.
Starkville will host South Panola on Tuesday.
Heritage Academy girls 55, Tuscaloosa Academy 49
Lucy Sharp scored 18 points, including 16 in the first quarter, to lead Heritage Academy to a 55-49 win over Tuscaloosa Academy on Saturday.
Sydney Adair scored 14 points, Bailey Harris had 11, and Carson Nichols had eight.
Heritage Academy (9-9) will host rival Starkville Academy on Tuesday.
Heritage Academy boys 60, Leake Academy 42, Friday
MADDEN — The Heritage Academy boys team beat Leake Academy 60-42 in Friday’s road game.
Eli Acker led the Patriots with 17 points, Jared Long scored 16, and Reid Huskison scored 10.
Leake Academy girls 74, Heritage Academy 42, Friday
MADDEN — The Heritage Academy girls fell to Leake Academy 74-42 on Friday in Madden.
Bailey Harris led the Patriots with 18 points. Lucy Sharp scored 10, and Sydney Adair scored seven.
West Lowndes girls 54, Newton 47
The West Lowndes girls beat Newton 54-47 at the Newton Shootout on Saturday.
Tydajasha Hood led the Panthers with 21, and Quankeria Halbert scored 11.
Pickens Academy (Ala.) boys 63, South Choctaw Academy (Ala.) 31
CARROLLTON, Ala. — The Pickens Academy (Alabama) boys team beat South Choctaw Academy 63-31 on Saturday.
Seth Peeks scored 23 points to lead the Pirates (7-5). Rafe Brown scored 11 points, and William Parker scored eight.
The Pirates will host Columbus Christian Academy on Dec. 13.

CARROLLTON, Ala. — The Pickens Academy boys beat Clarke Prep 44-38 in Friday’s home game.
Peeks led the Pirates again with 18 points. Brown scored 12, and Travis Dean scored eight.

CARROLLTON, Ala. — The Pickens Academy girls beat South Choctaw Academy 47-28 on Saturday in Carrollton, Alabama.
Caroline Lewis led the way for the Pirates (7-4, 1-0 area) with 13 points, five rebounds and five steals. Kate Wilkins had 11 points, seven rebounds and four steals.
