For the second time this season, Mississippi State forward Reggie Perry has been named the Southeastern Conference’s player of the week.
Perry, a 6-foot-10 sophomore, averaged 25.5 points and 10 rebounds in wins against Florida and Tennessee. He is the only player in the league averaging a double-double per game.
Perry shares the honor with Arkansas’ Mason Jones, who averaged 32 points and 8.5 rebounds in two contests.
MSU is back in action against Kentucky at 8 p.m, Tuesday at Rupp Arena.
