Mississippi State football is losing another piece of its strong defense.
Redshirt senior defensive lineman Aaron Odom has entered the transfer portal, The Dispatch confirmed Tuesday. On3.com first reported the news.
Odom racked up 17 tackles and three sacks as part of MSU’s rotation on the defensive line, splitting time with redshirt sophomore Jack Harris behind starter Randy Charlton at the position.
He started two games in 2020, finishing with 17 tackles and two sacks as a redshirt junior before producing similar numbers this past fall. Odom also forced a fumble and recovered one.
He will enter the transfer portal with one final year of eligibility.
