STARKVILLE — The West Point High School softball team stayed hot with a 14-10 road win Friday at Starkville High School.
The Green Wave jumped out to an 11-5 lead, watched the Yellow Jackets score three runs in the sixth inning to make it 12-8 and stayed the course for their fourth straight victory.
Starkville will host Choctaw County on Monday.
West Point will play Tuesday at Columbus.

Heritage Academy baseball closed the regular season with a 6-3 home win over East Rankin Academy on Friday.
Sam Hannon had three hits for the Patriots, and Aaron Downs had two.
Jack Ketchum earned the win on the mound, and Reed Brewer got the save.
The Pats will face Bayou Academy in the MAIS Class 4A playoffs next week. Game 1 of the best-of-three series will be at 5 p.m. Tuesday in Cleveland, while Game 2 will be Thursday in Columbus. If necessary, Game 3 will be played right after Game 2.

North River Christian Academy (Ala.) 7, Columbus Christian Academy 5, Friday
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Columbus Christian Academy fell 7-5 at North River Christian Academy (Alabama) in Friday’s regular-season finale.
The Rams scored three runs in the fifth to cut the Chargers’ lead from 6-2 to 6-5, but North River added a run in the sixth and held the lead.
Senior Tyler Looney had a triple in the fourth inning, Lahndon Townley had a single in the fourth and a double in the fifth, and Caleb Farlow had a double in the fifth.
Drake Shaw and senior John James Butler each had a single.
The Rams will host Rossville Christian Academy (Tenn.) at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the first round of the MAIS Class 2A playoffs. Game 2 will be Thursday in Rossville, Tennessee, with Game 3 following if necessary.
Pickens Academy (Ala.) 4, Coosa Valley Academy (Ala.) 2, Friday
CARROLLTON, Ala. — Pickens Academy (Alabama) held off Coosa Valley Academy (Alabama) for a 4-2 home win Friday.
Aidan Johnson struck out nine in five innings for the Pirates, allowing just one run.
Sawyer Perrigin, Bodhi Parham, Clay More and Gibson all had two hits for Pickens.
As area champions, the Pirates will get a first-round bye in the playoffs and begin postseason play at home April 29-30.
