JACKSON — It was a busy week in Jackson as the PGA Tour made its annual stop for the Sanderson Farms Championship.
Among the loaded field of competitors included several former Mississippi State men’s golfers, including recent graduate Ford Clegg, who made his tour debut at the Country Club of Jackson.
Clegg, along with Chad Ramey, another former Bulldog, both ended up making the cut, two of 78 players to do so in a competitive weekend of golf where the cut line was 5-under.
Ramey ended up finishing tied for 16th place overall shooting 12-under, including a best round of 67 (5-under) in the third round.
Clegg had a big day in the second round on Friday to make the cut, shooting a 7-under 65 to do so. He ended up finishing tied for 77th at 2-over for the weekend.
