BELLEVILLE, Ill. – A total of 22 student-athletes from The W have received recognition for their prowess in the classroom, with the release of the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) All-Academic Team honors for 2025 spring sports.
Across the SLIAC, a total of 245 student-athletes earned All-Academic Team honors for the 2025 spring season. Student-athletes from sports holding championships during the spring season were honored and included baseball, men’s golf, softball, and men’s and women’s outdoor track and field.
To earn All-Academic honors, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore, have spent one full academic year at their institution, and hold at least a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average.
Honored from the Owls’ teams were:
Baseball (7): Tyler Estabrook, Landon Clark, Brandon Fenimore, Griffin Fuller, Campbell McCluney, Charles Poag and Matthew Windham;
Men’s Golf (3): Matthew Phillips, Zach Riley and Kemit Spears Jr.;
Women’s Outdoor Track and Field (3): Paris Flanery, Hannah Owens and Diamond Rayford;
Softball (9): Kaitlyn Bearley, Avery Byerley, Rylie Grisham, Bailey McClellan, Taylor Palmer, Riley Phillips, Anna Sandlin, Emilee Slade and Brooklyn Wood.
