A response to day one of Trump’s second impeachment
Senator Rick Scott (R-FL) said that Day 1 of the prosecution by the House managers was ‘a waste of time.’ Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) took it a step further, claiming the presentation to be ‘offensive and absurd.”
Really, Senator Graham? You found the presentation to be offensive?! Not the content?!
I wonder how many times people in power have made statements like that, statements that they later seriously regretted.
I can’t claim to have sufficient wisdom or moral clarity to know for certain whether or not these two senators are on the wrong side of history, but I would bet the farm that they are on the wrong side of what is right. I hope their constituents are paying attention.
