Trump called John McCain (McCain was a POW over 5 years) a loser.
When McCain died, Trump told his senior staff, they were not going to support that loser’s funeral.
He became furious when he saw the flags lowered to half-staff. What the f*** are we doing that for?
Guy was a f****** loser, Trump told his aides.
Trump even questioned McCain’s status as a war hero, saying, “I like people that weren’t captured.”
Trump referred to George H.W. Bush as a loser for being shot down by the Japanese as a Navy pilot in World War II.
When Trump was visiting the graveside of then Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly’s son, who was killed in Afghanistan, he turned directly to Kelly and said, “I don’t get it. What was in it for them?”
Another instance of Trump referring to the war dead as suckers: “Why should I go to that cemetery? It’s filled with losers,” referring to 1,800 Marines that lost their lives at Belleau Wood as suckers for getting killed.
In 2018, in the White House planning for a military parade, Trump asked his staff not to include wounded veterans, on grounds that spectators would feel uncomfortable in the presence of amputees.
The saying of old, that someone’s mouth (pathological liar) is a window to their soul, being a Veteran myself, please don’t recount the votes.
Let Trump go out the same way he came in.
