In response to Bob Raymond, who was critical of police policy
Now let me make sure I’ve got this correct: You write an asinine letter to The Dispatch criticizing one of our police officers for not giving a homeless lady a ride to a motel, yet you refused to give her a ride yourself. Did you also have “boxes of books” in your back seat? If not, could you not have moved those boxes to the back seat and let her ride up front with you? Apparently, your precious boxes mattered more to you than this poor lady’s welfare. My, my, how easy it is to pass the buck. Well, sir, if that’s not hypocrisy, then I don’t know what is. Ebenezer Scrooge would have been very proud of you.
