Covid-19 is on the rise again with the number of cases increasing daily. It has been predicted that the second surge will be worse than the first. A lot of people have been hospitalized while others are being quarantined at home. Although many are recovering from it, there are still people who are dying from the virus. In spite of this, we have to keep trusting God no matter what happens because He’s in control. “But I am trusting you, O Lord, saying, ‘You are my God!'” (Psalm 31:14) NLT
There will be times in our lives when it seems like before we can get out of one situation, another one will come. In times like these, we have to keep trusting God no matter what happens. Then we can be like Job and say, “Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him.” (Job 13:15) KJV
It’s easy to trust God when everything is going great, but when things are not going well, it seems difficult to trust God. We have to learn how to keep trusting God in our good and bad times no matter what happens. “Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.” (Psalm 62:8) KJV
When we’re burdened by life’s circumstances, we have to keep our mind on Jesus and keep trusting Him to give us peace no matter what happens. “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” (Isaiah 26:3) KJV
Sometimes our problems will get worse before they get better. When this happens to us, we have to hang in there and keep trusting God no matter what happens. “Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.” (Psalm 9:10) NIV
We’re living in such a time where it seems like all we hear is bad news. Nevertheless, we don’t have to be afraid, we have to keep trusting God no matter what happens, knowing that every thing will be alright. “They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord.” (Psalm 112:7) NIV
Even when doctors have given up all hope and say there is nothing else they can do, we can’t lose our hope in God. We have to keep trusting Him no matter what happens. “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord.” (Jeremiah 17:7) NKJV
So be encouraged today and always remember: We can always trust God no matter what happens in our lives because He is trustworthy.
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not unto your own understanding.” (Proverbs 3:6) KJV
