Much has been said lately about the Secret Service and their failures to protect President Trump during his campaign. Naturally everybody has an opinion about how to solve the problem, but the Democrats want to have Congress take time to ok more money for more agents which would take way too much time and the campaign would be over before that could ever be started, even if it could ever get past the talking stage.
Not everyone knows that the former President’s security is also on the Secret Service’s plate as well. However, it’s true that all former Presidents and their spouses have lifetime protection, and that means billions of dollars from the treasury and many additional numbers of agents to do the job.
Now from the viewpoint of an average layman, I think there’s not even a slim chance for former Democrat presidents to ever be shot because all those who would do such a thing are people who still support them. So, here’s an inexpensive and quick solution to the so-called Secret Service manning shortage: Take half of the agents from all of the former Democrat presidents, including those who work with Joe, and move them over to President Trump. In fact, you could probably take more than half of Joe’s cause he just recently laid around on public beaches for about three weeks and no problems whatsoever. Seems to me like it’d be very simple to do and save some big bucks by temporarily moving people to a higher risk person. It needs to be done ASAP so I say do it now and stop all the talk so the proper security will be given to our former President during his campaign. It’s that easy, just plain old common sense.
