Thank you for your Our View opinion of Sept. 18, covering the OCH windfall.
I have lived in Starkville since 1962. During that time we seem to always want to be like Columbus and Lowndes County. Well now with a little common sense, we can invest 100% of this windfall as it belongs to all taxpayers – past, present and future – and use funds from the interest earned on special projects and smile about our rainy day fund that could be used if there is absolutely nowhere else to turn.
