Raymond Gross’ January 11 letter blaming Democrats for the California wildfires lacks both facts and consistency. He does not explain how the governor and mayor generated 100 mph winds and drought to create a firestorm. Those weather phenomena are non-partisan. Perhaps I missed Mr. Gross’ letters blaming the Republican governors of Florida for the horrific hurricane damages in many years, also non-partisan weather events. If he didn’t write such letters, then he’s inconsistent as well. It appears that the only thing the California politicians did wrong in Mr. Gross’ opinion was to be Democrats.
