It was supposed to be a neck and neck election fight according to many pollsters, but in reality, it didn’t happen. After the election, I have noticed two different scenarios. One, in his victory speech Trump was a different man with a little more compassion. Two, in Harris’ conceding speech venue, several supporters were in tears.
Several weeks back, I wrote in The Dispatch not to be a die-hard supporter. Thus, my feelings were somewhat compromised. Interestingly, because of the statement by Trump on Bangladesh minorities’ situation, my wife rejoiced Trump’s win. On the other hand, due to the poor prospects of getting a job in climate or the health environmental field under the Trump administration, my youngest daughter was unhappy. However, I am now looking forward to a better future for the USA.
One great thing happened in this election: the joining of a billionaire with an outstanding scientific mind, Mr. Elon Musk. Two of Trump’s issues – denying climate impacts and abortion related consequences for women – may take a little compromised path because of Musk. Musk may help in those issues or other promises of Trump during this election.
However, for the world, there could be a big surprise for peace. I understand both Musk and Trump are already in talks with the Ukrainian president. I am sure they will be in touch with the Israeli president. As the election promises, Trump and Musk will be able to stop these two savage wars.
If they become successful, I am 100% certain, they will not miss 2025 Noble prizes.
Our lotus flowers are blooming this Autumn for a happy reason.
