I want to publicly thank 100+Women Who Care for awarding $20,000 to Helping Hands of Columbus, Inc. in their Spring 2025 Giving Circle. The mission of Helping Hands is to help those in need who may fall on hard times at no fault of their own. Helping Hands used $10,000 of this Impact Award to pay rents/mortgages or utility bills for needy Lowndes County residents. The remaining $10,000 was used to purchase food for distribution through the Helping Hands food pantry. This Impact Award gave tremendous relief and allowed us to assist more residents in need.
100+Women Who Care is an amazing organization that comes together for one purpose and that is to care for our community through giving to area nonprofit organizations. It was a great honor to be chosen and awarded the 2025 Spring Impact Award because Helping Hands is only one of so many deserving nonprofit organizations in our area who pour their hearts into meeting the needs of our neighbors every day!
With Gratitude,
Jennifer L Garrard
Executive Director
Helping Hands of Columbus, Inc.
