I am writing to express my strong support for Jason Spears as the next Ward 6 City Councilman in Columbus. While Jason and I are both in the financial planning business — you might call us friendly competitors — I’ve come to know him as much more than that. He’s a hardworking, servant-hearted leader who genuinely cares about this community and its people.
Jason has served Columbus in countless ways, including his work with the Columbus Redevelopment Authority, the Columbus Municipal School District Board of Trustees, and numerous other roles that support our local youth. His dedication goes beyond titles — he is engaged, smart, and always willing to roll up his sleeves to get the job done. He brings valuable financial expertise, which is an important asset for any city leader. Columbus needs leaders like Jason who not only have the skills and vision to make a difference but also the work ethic to follow through.
Columbus would benefit greatly from Jason’s leadership, and I encourage Ward 6 residents to support him in this important election.
