I’d vote for Michelle Dean Easterling for Circuit Judge, Place 3 even if she wasn’t my wife. But since she is, let me tell you about her.
We met at church in 1995 and married in the same church two years later. We have raised our sons in the church. Our faith has made us better people.
She has an incredible work ethic. She put herself through college and law school. We have lived the American dream together and do the best we can to make sure everyone has a shot at it.
Michelle believes in the rule of law and in fairness. In 24 years as an attorney, she has practiced in every court in the state of Mississippi. As the Clay County Prosecutor since 2013, she works well with law enforcement but knows that “justice” does not always mean “conviction.” She balances fidelity to the law with accountability to voters. No other candidate on the ballot for Circuit Judge, Place 3 has been elected to a position of public trust. She gets the job done the right way.
Michelle and I have made true public service — service rendered without pay and for the good of the community — foundational to our marriage.
With Michelle, what you see is what you get: a lawyer with experience, leadership, and integrity who has a well-earned reputation for fairness and hard work. I want a judge who has those traits. I hope you do, too.
