COLUMBUS — Willie James (Swain) Williams, 77, died April 3, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle. 

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, at Zion Gate Church, with the Rev. James A. Boyd officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, at Lee-Sykes Funeral Home. Lee-Sykes Funeral Home of Columbus is in charge of arrangements. 

Mr. Williams was born Nov. 26, 1948, to the late Rosie Wiliams and John Swain. He was a member of Zion Gate Church. 

He is survived by his wife, Rose Williams; daughters, Christina Diana Williams and Lillie Harris; son, Sherman Jennings; and three grandchildren.
